MIDDLEBORO — Capt. Dana Fontaine was honored Friday, May 19 on his retirement after more than 20 years of service with the Middleboro Fire Department.

Among those in attendance at his retirement celebration were select board members Mark Germain and Thomas White, Town Manager James McGrail and Fire Chief Owen Thompson.

A luncheon was held at the fire station to thank the retiring captain for his service.
