MIDDLEBORO — The final event of Soule Homestead’s First Farm Fun series will be held Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 10 to 11 a.m.
Weather permitting, attendees will get to explore the picturesque Soule Homestead in the fall and go on a casual, short hike to the farm’s pond. The pond is home to ducks, turtles, frogs and more. Participants will also get to listen to a story and partake in arts & crafts.
The program is designed for children ages two to five years old, but siblings of all ages are welcome to join.
First Farm is an hour-long drop-in program that runs from 10 to 11 a.m. Bring a blanket for story time and listen or sit on the grass. Attendees can bring supplies for a picnic lunch after the program.
The restrooms, water fountain and baby changing station are in the barn.
Soule Homestead is an organic working farm. Staff asks that all guests wear shoes at all times and encourage wearing bug spray. For questions, email info@soulehomestead.org.
All First Farm Fun guests, members and non-members, are required to check in at the registration table.
The program is free for members and $5 per child for non-members.
