MIDDLEBORO — Eight more suspects have been charged in connection with a triple stabbing in late June off Wall Street, Police Chief Joseph Perkins reports.

Two adults and six juveniles who were allegedly involved in the incident are facing charges as Middleboro Police continue to investigate the incident.

Matthew Brow and Alaiis Barrows, both 19 and of Middleboro, were charged with assault and battery.

Four juveniles from Middleboro, four males and two females, were also charged with assault and battery in connection with the incident.

An arraignment date has not yet been scheduled.

The charges stem from an incident in the early hours of Saturday, June 24 when Middleboro Police received a 911 call reporting that multiple people had been stabbed in the area of the power lines on Wall Street.

The stabbings reportedly occurred during what police described as a “pit party’’ with many young people in attendance.

Police found three teens, two from Carver and one from Middleboro, with stab wounds. One was critically wounded and remains hospitalized, police said.

Jayden Wainwright, an 18-year-old from Middleboro, was arrested soon after the incident and charged with attempted murder and three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

He was released on $25,000 cash bail, with conditions that he be confined to home with GPS monitoring and was ordered to stay away from all victims and witnesses, Judge Julie Bernard ruled at a dangerousness hearing June 29 at Wareham District Court. Prosecutors had argued that he was a danger and should be jailed.
