LAKEVILLE — According to a crash report for the Jan. 14 incident in Lakeville where a vehicle crashed into a Dollar Tree, after the crash, the driver and the passenger of the vehicle switched seats before leaving the scene.

“Vehicle entered the Dollar Tree parking lot from Main Street,” the crash report said. “Vehicle began pulled into a parking space, drove up over the curb, and crashed into the building. Witness observed the unknown white male driver switch seats with an unknown white female passenger. Vehicle backed up and fled the scene on Main Street.”

The crash report described the vehicle as a 2023 Chevrolet. 

The Lakeville Fire Department said that no injuries were reported in relation to the incident. The crash broke the glass on the Dollar Tree building, according to the Lakeville Police Department.
