Donate toiletries to the Middleboro Police Department during Domestic Violence Awareness Month
MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro Police Department is accepting donations of new, unused and unexpired toiletries to support survivors of domestic violence and their families this month.
Every year, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office holds a toiletry drive to donate items to area agencies that provide services for survivors of domestic violence and their families. A collection bag for donations will be in the front lobby of the department throughout October — the national Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
All donated items must be new, unused and unexpired.
Suggested donations include: toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, floss, shampoo, cosmetics, combs and brushes. Other items include hair scrunchies, deodorant, lotion, body wash, disposable razors, feminine hygiene products, diapers and lip balm.
The department stated that travel size products are encouraged.
The donation drive at the department, located at 350 Wood St., will wrap up at the end of October.
