LAKEVILLE — A two-vehicle crash occurred just before 10 a.m. on June 11 near 51 Main Street, injuring one of the drivers. 

The injured driver was taken to Morton Hospital but their condition was not considered serious.

At the time of the accident, both of the town’s ambulances were already handling other medical calls. 

One of them, Ambulance 2, was able to respond to the crash while returning from the hospital. Firefighters recalled to duty responded with Engine 1, and the department’s Car 1 also arrived to assist.

The Lakeville Fire Department thanked its team for their quick response and ongoing commitment to public safety.
