Community programing grant seeks applicants
LAKEVILLE — Anyone with a community-focused program in the arts, humanities or science can now apply for funding through the Lakeville Arts Council.
The council is currently seeking proposals, with the application open until Oct. 15. Projects can include exhibits, performances, workshops and lectures.
The arts council is part of the Massachusetts Local Cultural Councils network, and receives appropriations from the state legislature each year. In 2026, Lakeville will distribute approximately $8,600 in grants.
Past grant recipients have included the Toe Jam Puppet band, a display at the Easton Children’s Museum, a presentation at the Lakeville Historical Society and Massachusetts Art Revealed.
