Christopher J. Park of Rochester passed away after a brief illness on December 2, 2023. He was 55.

He was born on March 14, 1968 in Taunton, son of the late Donald and Carol (Brennan) Wilbur. Chris was a graduate of Middleboro High School and Bridgewater State College (BSU) earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance and a Master's Degree in Police Administration from New England College in Springfield. He began his career in law enforcement as a seasonal police officer, working as a Public Safety Dispatch Officer in Wareham until being hired as a full-time officer in 1993. Christopher was appointed Detective in 2008 and Sergeant in 2009 and retired in 2018.

Christopher was an avid history buff and loved to travel, especially to Disney. In addition, he enjoyed many cruises. Christopher was a quiet, kind and caring man.

Brother of Debra (Wilbur) Meunier and her husband, Steven of Middleboro, David Wilbur and his wife, Bonnie of Norwich, Connecticut and the late John (Jay) Wilbur. Nephew of Barbara (Brennan) Turinese and her husband, David, William (Bill) Brennan and his late wife, Jayne Brennan, Robert (Bob) Brennan and his wife, Cheryl. Uncle to Lauren (Meunier) Sampson and her husband, Benjamin, Lindsey (Meunier) Grady and her husband, Zachary (along with their four children spent all holidays and special occasions) Darrel Young, Steven Young and Rhiannon Wilbur. Christopher also leaves his long time friend, Chad Pelley and several cousins. Grandson of the late Tessie Brennan.

Relatives and friends may call on December 10, 2023 (Sunday) from 4 until 6 p.m. to the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. Words of Rememberance will conclude the visiting hours at 6 PM.
