Cheryl Moquin, 62
Cheryl Moquin, 62, of Middleboro, passed away in the presence of her loving family on February 28th, 2024. Cheryl was born on December 10th, 1961, at St. Luke’s hospital in Middleboro to Norma (Howe) Wainwright and James Wainwright.
Cheryl is survived by her mother, Norma Wainwright of Mashpee; her partner, David Poliatti of Middleboro; and her loving children, Daniel Francis, Jacob Wainwright, Kristen Moquin, and Jessica Moquin, who she shared with her previous husband, Harold Moquin, of Middleboro. Cheryl is also survived by her sisters, Sue Bennet and her husband, John of Middleboro, Gail Atwood of Mashpee, Norma Quagan and her husband, Donny of Lakeville; her brothers, Roger “Butch” Wainwright of Middleboro, David Wainwright of Carver, and Russell Wainwright of Maine. Cheryl also leaves behind many grandchildren, Shaylah Wainwright, Jacob Wainwright Jr., Camden Wainwright, Logan Wainwright; and a great grandson, Lukas Jones; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Cheryl was predeceased by her father, James Wainwright; several brothers, Jimmy Wainwright, Arnold Wainwright, George Wainwright, Richard Wainwright, Walton “Skip” Wainwright; and sisters, Marie Covel and Joan Crocket.
Cheryl was a kind and loving soul who spent much of her time caring for others. She could often be found in the kitchen preparing delicious meals for her family and friends whom she loved unconditionally. Cheryl will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life was held in her honor on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 at the Middleboro Town Hall. Cheryl's family served some of her recipes, favorite dishes, and shared special memories.
