Calling Lakeville gardeners and green thumbs

LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Garden Club will hold its Annual Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lakeville Historic Town House, located at the intersection of Precinct Street and Bedford Street.

The sale will feature annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, hanging plants, baked goods, “Garden Treasures,” glass jewelry, and a Junior Garden Club table. A new activity area will allow attendees to create their own flower bouquets in vases. Payments will be accepted by cash or credit card.

The club’s scholarship fundraiser will include a silent auction with a variety of items. Among the auction offerings are wall hangings donated by past president and Lakeville quilter Pat Bessette.
