Berry special: Rotary members donate homemade bread to food pantry

The freshly baked breads were decorated with Rotary Club decals and bows.

MIDDLEBORO — Every year, Middleboro Rotary Club members donate funds to the Sacred Heart Food Pantry to help those less fortunate.

They added a sweet treat this year.

Rotary members personally baked cranberry bread loaves for the pantry. Cranberry bread coordinator and Rotary scribe Bob Saquet delivered more than 300 cranberry breads to Food Pantry Director Dave Cunningham.

The pantry provides sustenance to 300 to 400 families each week.
