It’s playoff season for high school sports, and between Apponequet Regional and Middleboro High Schools, four teams remain in the postseason. 

The following Apponequet teams made it to the postseason. 

Baseball. The team ended the regular season with a 10-10 record and was placed at the No. 16 seed. After defeating No. 17 Taconic in the first round and St. Mary’s High School in the second round, the team will play North Reading in the round of 8 on June 7. 

Softball. Placed at the No. 3 seed, the team received a first round bye after finishing the season with a 17-5 record. After two wins the team heads to the round of 8 next. 

Girls lacrosse. At the No. 8 seed, the 16-3 girls defeated Tewksbury in the round of 32 and Bishop Fenwick in the round of 16. They head to Medfield on June 7 for the round of 8. 

The following Middleboro High School teams made it to the post season. 

Softball. The team received the No. 9 seed after a 15-5 regular season. The girls defeated Hingham 9-2 in the first round and Plymouth South 8-2 in the second round. They head to Silver Lake Regional for the round of 8 next.
