MIDDLEBORO — A promotion at downtown coffee shop Coffee Milano has perked interest in the business across the nation and beyond.

Customers were recently offered free coffee in exchange for showcasing their best dance movies, which were then showcased on social media, including TikTok.

The sensation has drawn attention from media outlets throughout the country and beyond.

Views of the dance moves on the company’s account @coffeemilanocafe drew over 5 million views of TikTok, bringing big time exposure to a small town business.

Owner Josh Rashid said the promotion was a fun way to draw attention to the business. 

He said the shop has been dropping “Easter eggs’’ to announce upcoming promotions such as the free coffee. Another one take place soon, he said.

People can learn about upcoming “dance parties’’ and other promotions through the company’s social media accounts.
