NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The LAKEVILLE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS, acting in accordance with MASS GENERAL LAWS CHAPTER 40A, as amended, will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. in the LAKEVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY, 4 PRECINCT STREET, upon the petition of Michael & Tara Robinson.  A Special Permit is requested under Section 270-6.3 B & Section 270-7.4 B (5) to place a 10’ x 20’ shed within the setback on a pre-existing, non-conforming lot, as provided by the Lakeville By-Laws.  The property site is 18 Fuller Shores Road. The application and assorted documents can be viewed in the Planning Department by appointment.

NOTICE OF HEARING

Notice is hereby given that application has been made on behalf of the Town of Middleborough for the approval of the Department of Environmental Protection for the Town of Middleborough to acquire certain lands or rights to land in Middleborough for public water supply protection purposes, said land in question being identified as Parcel #78-1565 located at Marion Road, Middleborough. 

In response to said application, the Department of Environmental Protection acting under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 39B and Section 41, as amended and each and every other act thereto enabling, will hold a hearing on November 13, 2024, beginning at 10am at the MassDEP 20 Riverside Dr., Room 2117, Lakeville, MA 02347.

The plan showing the land in question is on file at the Department of Environmental Protection at the above address, and in the office of the Town Clerk of Middleborough. Said plan is entitled Wilbur Well Plan of Land Prints, October 21, 2024.

Comments pertaining to this matter may be made orally at the time of the hearing or submitted in writing to the MassDEP/SERO address at any time before 3:00 p.m. (date one week after hearing).

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The LAKEVILLE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS, acting in accordance with MASS GENERAL LAWS CHAPTER 40A, as amended, will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. in the LAKEVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY, 4 PRECINCT STREET, upon the petition of Buds Goods & Services MA Corp.  The applicant has requested to amend their Special Permit #24-04 approved on April 25, 2024, and filed with the Town Clerk on May 17, 2024, under Section 270-7.4(4) to expand its existing use to allow for 24-hour operations and increase the number of employees from 25 to 35, with a maximum of no more than 15 employees per shift.  The property site is 475 Kenneth W. Welch Drive and is owned by Green Peak LLC. The application and assorted documents can be viewed in the Planning Department by appointment.
