Unitarian Universalist craft fair Nov. 16
MIDDLEBORO — The First Unitarian Universalist Society of Middleboro will be hosting a holiday craft fair on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The fair will be held in the handicap accessible Parish Hall, located at 25 South Main St.
There will be a selection of home baked goods, soups, jams and jellies, jewelry, and a wide variety of crafts from local vendors, including quilted and crocheted items, pottery, stained glass, candles, salves and balms.
A raffle will take place for a full-size 72” x 72” quilt hand-made by a church member, with proceeds going towards the society.
The red, white, and blue quilt pattern is called “Anthem.” These quilts are sometimes given as a “Quilt of Honor” to commemorate a veteran, to a person who has served in the military, or to a Gold Star mother.
Chances will be available for $5 each or a book of five chances for $20. Drawing will be held at 2 p.m.; one does not need to be present to win.
