John H. “Jack” Sperry III, 76
Lakeville-John H. “Jack” Sperry III, 76, of Lakeville husband of Janice K. (Michalowski) Sperry, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday June 30, 2024 at Tobey Hospital. He was born in Brockton the son of the late John H. and Margaret E. (Nokes) Sperry II.
1965 Graduate of Brockton High School, Jack worked for many years in the banking industry. He and his wife owned and operated Home Town Video in Middleborough and he worked with his father as caretakers at Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater.
He was a Master Mason of May Flower Lodge A.F & A.M in Middleborough and Baalis Sanford Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Brockton and a Scottish Rite Mason. His hobbies included coin collecting and sailing.
In Addition to his wife, he is survived by his son John H. “Jay” Sperry IV of Lakeville. He was the brother of Frederick W. Sperry and his wife Melony B and uncle of Frederick’s children Sam and Cam Sperry. He was also survived by “Otto” his cat and many loving relatives and friends.
His Memorial service will be held on Saturday August 17, 2024 at 1 PM with a masonic service to be performed at the May Flower Lodge A.F. & A.M. 46 South Main Street, Middleboro, MA 02346 .
