Veterans can have a cup of Joe and find what to know

MIDDLEBORO — A weekly social club for veterans gathers in Middleboro and Brockton every week.

The Middleboro Elks host weekly social and informational coffee hours for veterans throughout every month. All veterans are welcome, and no sign up is needed. In addition, the social hour hosts occasional guest speakers. 

The events occur on Wednesdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at two locations. On the first and third Wednesdays of the month, the social hour takes place at the Elks lodge on 24 High St. On the second and fourth Wednesdays, the meetings take place at the Brockton VA inpatient care buildings 7 and 8.

Additional volunteers are needed, especially for the Brockton event dates.
