There is always a lot going on in Middleboro and Lakeville. This week, jam to jazz at the Middleboro Public Library, attend Soule Farm’s community clean up day and more.

Saturday, Nov. 18

Turkey dinner at the South Middleboro Grange Hall

The South Middleboro Grange will host the annual turkey dinner at 5 p.m.

The dinner will be held at the Grange Hall located at 570 Wareham Street, Middleboro. 

Reservations for the dinner should be made by calling Caroline LaCroix at 508 947-1904 no later than Wednesday, Nov. 15. Take out dinners reservations can be made as well, pick up time for take out dinners is 5:30 p.m.

The cost of the meal is $18 for adults and $10 for children.

Community clean up

Soule Farm is in need of volunteers of all ages to help clean up the farm and prepare for the winter season. Volunteers will meet at the Soule Farm pavilion at 10:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. Volunteers do not need to stay for the entirety of the event. Mama Train

Head to the Middleboro Public Library at 2 p.m for a performance by Mama Train.

A small act with a big vintage sound, Mama Train celebrates the spirit of the Jazz Age with rich female vocals and dynamic expressive piano.

Admission is free and refreshments will be available for purchase with all proceeds being used to strengthen the Friends’ mission.

Monday, Nov. 20

Going gray and looking gorgeous 

A Personal Image Enhancement Program for seniors will be held in the craft room of Oak Point. The classes will be held at 1 p.m on Mondays Nov. 20, 27 and Dec. 4.

Each class costs $15. The program, aimed to boost confidence and self-worth will consist of four low-cost classes on colors, makeup, accessories, and clothing style will help seniors to look and feel great.
