MIDDLEBOROUGH - Tamra L. (Whalen) Madden, age 82, formerly of Middleborough, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

Born in Middleborough on July 3, 1944, she was the daughter of the late James & Gertrude Whalen. Tamra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose presence brought love and meaning to the lives of those around her. Although she is no longer here, Tamra will remain in the hearts of those who loved her. She leaves behind a lifetime of shared memories that will be cherished. She will never be forgotten, and will be forever loved.

Tamra is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Madden, Jr., with whom she shared over 43 years of marriage; her three sons: Joseph Madden, III & his wife Gina of Charlestown, and their children Declan, Lochlan and Emilienne; Branden Stack & his wife Jody of Greenfield, and their six children and two grandchildren; and Justyn Stack & his wife Jill of Lakeville, and their children Anthony, Brenden and Cortney; her brother, Shawn Whalen & his wife Cheryl Motta of Sarasota, FL; and her sister, Lori Whalen & her husband Edward Pesce of Sarasota, FL, and West Dennis.

Family and friends are welcome to the visitation period at the Ashley~Drolette Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Friday, September 11, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Interment services will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Connery Avenue, Bourne, at 12:30 PM.
