Shirley Rita Delia (Willis) Quagan, age 95, of Middleboro passed away peacefully on January 9, 2024 at the Nemasket Healthcare Center in Middleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Quagan. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Lawrence Willis and Loretta (Derragon) Willis on September 1, 1928, Shirley lived the majority of her life in Middleboro. She was employed at Alden Shoes for over 42 years, retiring as a floor supervisor. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and making puzzles in her spare time. She loved watching westerns, going to the casino, and Elvis.

Shirley was many things to many people. Whether you knew her for years or just 10 minutes, you knew you had a friend for life. She was one of the most loving, compassionate people one could ever hope to meet. Also, one of the most honest. You got nothing but the truth from her.....ALWAYS. She truly brightened your day, if you were ever lucky enough to cross paths with her.

Shirley was the mother of Donald and his wife Norma, Paul and his late wife Nancy and the late Loretta Quagan. Grandmother of John and his wife Vanessa, Michael and his wife Alison, Matthew and his wife Heather. Great grandmother of Lucas, Lila, Olivia, Benjamin and Julia. Shirley was predeceased by her younger brother George Willis and his wife Betty-Ann. She was loved by many and had numerous friends, many of which became family. She is already missed beyond measure and will be in our hearts for eternity.
