More than 500,000 holiday lights and inflatable displays filled the field for this year's festivities, said Francis Cass, the Parks Department Superintendent. From a 40-foot-tall inflatable Santa display, to a larger than life Abominable Snowman and light displays of every fashion — the field glowed with Christmas cheer.
This year’s display was a drive-through event, where cars could snake their way around the field, past displays and festively dressed characters like Santa, the Grinch and Rudolf.
