MIDDLEBORO — The town will host “National Night Out”, a family-friendly event for community members to connect with first responders, on Aug. 14.

“National Night Out” is an annual event that aims to bring together community members and first responders through a fun, free event. This year, the event will run from 4 to 7 p.m., at Battis Field at 26 Jackson St., on Aug. 14.

Emergency vehicles will be at the event for attendees to inspect and sit in, and the Middleboro Police Department will perform a canine demonstration. In addition, food trucks, pizza, icecream, and information booths will be available for attendees.

The town pool will also be open during the event.
