Make a barn quilt cement paver

MIDDLEBORO -- Learn to make a barn quilt garden paver at a workshop from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 24 at Soule Homestead Education Center, 46 Soule St., Middleboro

Workshop fee is $45. Material fee is $8.

Participants will learn how to make their own 12 x 12 cement paver barn quilt that can be used in a garden. Brought over to the United States by Europeans, this historic craft was used to help decorate barns and was used during the American Revolution to help Patriot forces find needed supplies.
