Lori was born and grew up in Middleborough, a daughter of Helen (Pierce) Carmichael & the late Walter Carmichael.  She was a graduate of Middleborough High School, Class of 1977.  After graduation, she moved to Florida where she made her home and started her family.  Lori was a Bingo Caller in the Fort Lauderdale, Broward County area for about 20 years.  She relocated back to Massachusetts, worked in retail for over 10 years and then became a well-loved receptionist at The Residence of Five Corners in Easton.  Lori loved spending time at the beach and taking advantage of the pleasures of sunbathing.  She also enjoyed riding horses, especially her horse "Annie".  Lori was devoted to her grandchildren; she cherished the times they shared together.

 

Lori was the loving mother of Andrew Cleaves & his girlfriend Wendy Cole of Middleborough, Abrina Kelly & her husband Bill of Carver, and Alicia (Salay) Logan & her husband Michael of Lakeville; devoted grandmother of Camren, Brendan, Oliver, Cassidy, Owen, Michael, Marissa and Chris; cherished daughter of Helen Carmichael of Middleborough; and dear sister of Lisa Carmichael.

 

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM.

 

Funeral and Interment Services will be private.
