MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro Little League team received a major league thank you from the select board at their Sept. 12 meeting.

One by one, each player was acknowledged for his contribution that sent the team all the way to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. Each team member received a certificate and the thanks of the select board on behalf of the town.

To qualify for the Little League World Series, Middleboro had to win district, sectional, and regional tournaments throughout the summer. 

The Middleboro Little League World Series team players are Luke Bolduc, Aaron Davis, Cayden Ellis, Gavin Gillpatrick, Jacob Landers, Mike Marzelli, Nathan Mello, Shawn Miller, Joe Monteforte, Ayden Morris, Jayden Murphy, and Reece Trottier. The manager is Chad Gillpatrick. Coaches are Glenn Marzelli. Dan Mello and Joseph Trottier.
