HISTORICAL COMMISSION

The Middleborough Historical Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p. m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the Town Hall, Nickerson Avenue, Middleborough, on the application of Eugene Kelley for a permit to demolish a building at 504 Wareham Street, Assessors’ Map 94, Lot 1883. The hearing will conclude with a determination by the Commission as to whether the building is a “Preferably Preserved Significant Structure” as defined by the Town of Middleborough’s Structure Demolition Bylaw, Sections 3.3-3.6 and whether demolition would be detrimental to the historical or architectural resources of the town. Anyone desiring to be heard on this matter should appear at the time and place designated.
