NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to M.G.L. Ch 131, the Wetlands Protection Act, the Lakeville Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on May 9th, 2023 at 7pm at the Lakeville Council on Aging, 1 Deer Crossing, on a Notice of Intent filing. The applicant, Bisio & Son Construction, is proposing the construction of a single family dwelling with onsite septic and well with associated grading and site work within the buffer zone of an existing wetland resource area.

The project is located at 2 Rachel’s Way and also identified as Assessors Map 004 Block 004 Lot 005-01

The Middleborough Conservation Commission will hold a hearing under M.G.L. c. 131, s.40, the Wetlands Protection Act. The applicant is requesting an Amendment to the Order of Conditions SE220-1517. The project consists of the construction of a water main along Precinct Street to service 6 residential lots. The work has already been completed, however, during the construction process additional temporary disturbances were made to the wetlands that were not originally permitted, at Precinct Street, Map 23, Lot 2939. Hearing has been requested by Demon Realty Trust. Hearing will be held May 4, 2023 at 7:10 PM in the Select Board Meeting Room, at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue and via remote.

The Middleborough Conservation Commission will hold a hearing under M.G.L. c. 131, s.40, the Wetlands Protection Act, to manage and enhance approximately 4,500-square feet of buffer zone and riverfront area along the western perimeter of the site. This will include the removal of discarded landscape waste and construction debris that has been dumped within 100’ of a bordering vegetated wetland and riverfront area and the removal of numerous invasive plant species and the replanting of native shrub/tree species, at 68 East Main Street, Map 51, Lot 2848.
