Learn about evolving treatments for the opioid crisis

LAKEVILLE — A primary care physician who has worked in the Middleboro and Lakeville area for over 34 years will lead a presentation on “The Opioid Crisis: Evolution and Treatment” at the Lakeville Public Library on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 6 p.m.
Dr. Robert Friedman will discuss the evolution of the current opioid crisis and share the more compassionate treatment options available today for those in need. Friedman has seven years of experience treating patients with opioid use disorders, he will also review how loved ones can recognize the signs and access the treatments available.
