Kenneth Ehney, 66
Kenneth Ehney, 66, formerly of Middleboro, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2026, in Pensacola, Florida. In retirement, he divided his time between Monroeville, Alabama, and Navarre, Florida.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Reynolds, and his son, David Ehney; his siblings, Sandra (Ehney) Salgado, Paul Ehney Jr. and his wife, Diane, and Caroline (Ehney) Manske; several beloved nieces and nephews, including April Daniels and her husband, Stephen, and their children, Isabella and Eva; Steve Salgado Jr. and his daughter, Avah; Amber Gregory and her husband, Dan, and their daughter, Ziggy; and his niece, Jennifer Ehney; along with extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Marie Antoinette “Eva” Ouellette Ehney and Paul Corbin Ehney Sr.; and by his brother-in-law, Steven Salgado Sr.
Kenneth gave generously of his time to his community. He coached youth baseball and football in Middleboro, served as a CCD teacher at Sacred Heart Church, and helped organize the Sacred Heart marching band for several years. He was also a member of the Mitchell Memorial Club in Middleboro.
Before retiring, Kenneth worked as a fire and security specialist for Schneider Electric. He enjoyed woodworking, building things, sailing, spending time by the ocean, traveling, trying new restaurants, and exploring history. Known for his dry wit and the way he loved to joke around, he will be remembered fondly by those who knew and loved him.
A Funeral Mass will be held on April 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Church, 249 Whittenton Street, Taunton, Massachusetts 02780.
