WAREHAM – Helen P. Holmes, 83, of Middleboro passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Helen G. (Cuddy) and William H. Holmes, Sr. Raised in Stoughton, she graduated from Stoughton High School in 1956 and was a longtime resident of Middleboro. 

Helen worked as an assembler for the Northrop Corporation. After retiring from Northrop, she worked as a letter carrier for the Middleboro Post Office. She enjoyed travelling and was an avid bowler participating in several area leagues. 

Survivors include her siblings, Adrienne Whiting and Elmer Holmes both of Middleboro, and Leonard Holmes of Raynham. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, the late William Holmes, Jr. and her sisters, the late Rosellen Holmes and Theresa Nichols. 

A celebration of life will be held this summer. Arrangements by Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham.
