LAKEVILLE — Every week, the Lakeville Council on Aging hosts “Friday Cafe” for seniors to enjoy cafe treats and a sense of community on Fridays.

During the “Friday Cafe”, located at 1 Dear Crossing, pastries and breakfast beverages will be served, free of charge from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. every Friday. Attendees can also play card games, read books and newspapers and chat with neighbors at the center’s porch area which overlooks a pond.

No registration or fees are required. Attendees who aren’t senior citizens and residents of Lakeville are also welcome to attend. Donations to help with the cafe’s weekly costs are welcome.
