Elvis will be in the building for Burt Wood fund-raiser
MIDDLEBORO — Singer Dan Fontaine III will be all shook up as he presents “Love Me Tender, An Elvis Presley Tribute’’ concert Sunday, Feb. 9 at The Alley Theatre in Middleboro.
Fontaine grew up in Massachusetts and was raised listening to the music of Elvis Presley. At 16, he began his music career singing and playing guitar at Hillcrest Church where his father serves as pastor.
In 2014, he began performing his tribute to Elvis all over New England. He aims to capture the energy, passion, and vocal prowess of The King.
Fontaine is an award-winning Elvis tribute artist and has competed at Images of The King and Ultimate Elvis festivals and competitions nationally and internationally.
The Alley Theatre is located at 133 Center Street in Middleborough. The Bartending Service of New England will provide a bar. Coffee Milano will provide food. Tickers are $40 per person.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m. The concert begins at 1 p.m.
