Doctor joins Middleboro office of Women’s Health and Gynecology of New England
MIDDLEBORO — Dr. Aasia Romano has joined the Women’s Health and Gynecology of New England practice and is now accepting new patients at the Middleboro office, 511 West Grove St., Suite 304.
Dr. Romano brings more than 11 years of healthcare experience in Massachusetts, with specialized expertise in abnormal bleeding, contraception, Pap smear screening, and menopause care. She is a certified menopause practitioner by The Menopause Society.
Dr. Romano holds degrees from MIT and University of Massachusetts Medical School. She completed her residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Prior to joining Women’s Health and Gynecology of New England, she served as an attending physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital for three years followed by eight years as a gynecologic surgeon for the Veteran Affairs Boston Healthcare System.
