Container gardening workshop May 2

MIDDLEBORO -- You don’t need soil in your backyard to create a garden.

A workshop on container gardening will teach participants how to grow gardens even in small spaces. The event will take place from 10 to 11:25 a.m. Saturday May 2 at Soule Homestead Education Center, 46 Soule St.

Soil, fertilizer, maximizing growing space and overwintering will be discussed.

The fee is $15 for adults and $7  for children.
