Comic juggler takes a spin at Lakeville presentation
LAKEVILLE — When school ends, youngsters have fewer obligations to juggle.
For the children who crowded into the meeting room at the Lakeville Library Thursday, July 6, that meant they had time to watch juggling.
And this juggler had more than the traditional oranges and rubber balls up his sleeve.
Bryson Lang juggled a trunk full of items, from dodge balls to pencils to hats to baby bottles and diapers.
Audience participation was also part of the performance. Anna Vieira Lima, 9, of Lakeville, charmed those attending as she learned to juggle plates, possibly with the help of some well-placed props, while never dropping an object _ or her smile.
About 50 people attended, escaping the heat and finding comic refuge.
Lang, whose lengthy resume includes serving as a warm-up act to the taping of “Friends,’’ described his presentation to the enthusiastic youngsters as the “cure for the common show.’’
The performance was funded by the Lakeville Arts Council.
