MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro Cobras, a semi-professional football team that dates back nearly 100 years, has made it to the playoffs of the New England Football League.

The Cobras will take on the Worcester Wildcats Saturday, Sept. 16 at Battis Field, 26 Jackson St. Kick-off is at 6:30 p.m.

The Middleboro squad, which was formed in 1926, sports a 7-3 record while the Wildcats are 6-4. 

The Cobras ask fans to wear maroon in support of the team. Admission is $10 for adults. Youth athletes wearing their team jerseys will be admitted free.

At halftime, Matt Cotter and Jason Walmsley will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
