Carole A. Oliver, 78, of Middleboro, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Life Care Center of Raynham.
Born on February 23, 1948, in South Boston, Carole was the daughter of the late William Allen and Phyllis R. (Chandler) Allen. She made Middleboro her home for more than six decades and built a life centered around her family, her faith, and her community.
Carole worked for the Town of Middleboro for more than 40 years, serving as an accountant. Her many years of dedicated service reflected the commitment and dependability she brought to the people and organizations that were important to her.
A devoted Catholic, Carole was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Parish. Her faith played an important role throughout her life. She was actively involved with the parish, including its group for making rosaries, and enjoyed making rosaries for boys and girls receiving their First Communion and Confirmation. She also found comfort and enjoyment in reading the Bible.
Above all, Carole treasured her family. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas W. Heroux, and is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Linda Vasconcelos and Judith Wrightington; her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Carole will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her strong Catholic faith, her many years of service to the Town of Middleboro, and the kindness she shared with those around her. The rosaries she lovingly made and the many lives she touched through her family, church, and community will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 135 Wood St., Middleboro, at 10:00am. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
