MIDDLEBORO — The public library will host a gameshow-themed “Buildwave” event where youth participants can use different materials like Lego to build unique creations.

The Middleboro Public Library will host the “Buildwave” event at 11 a.m. on Aug. 2. A portion of the event is intended for kids ages 11 and up, and will start at 12:30 p.m., kids ages five to 11 are welcome at 11 a.m. At the science and art themed event with a gameshow twist, participants will be led through multiple building steps while they build with Lego and Plus-Plus materials.

“Each building wave is enhanced by a dynamic audiovisual experience unlike any
other,” wrote the library in a press release.
