Brenda J. (Young) Conant, 65

LAKEVILLE  -  Brenda J. (Young) Conant, age 65, of Lakeville, formerly of Middleborough, died after a brief illness, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Morton Hospital in Taunton.

Born in Middleborough, she was the daughter of the late Edward & Gloria B. (Hebert) Young.  Brenda grew up in Middleborough and attended public schools there.  For many years, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the healthcare industry.  In her free time, Brenda liked to bowl and was an avid reader, especially of horror and mystery novels.

Brenda was the beloved wife of the late James Conant; loving mother of Lynn Thomason & her husband Robert of Lakeville, Joseph Thayer of Lakeville, Sara Vieira of Middleborough, and Brendan Thayer & his wife Coralie of Greenville, New Hampshire; cherished grandmother of Kenneth Rapoza, Natty Rapoza, Larissa Vieira, Adrianna Thayer, Penelope Thayer, Cameron Thayer, Sergio Cook, Elizabeth Cook and Oliver Cook; great-grandmother of Chloe Orts, Kennedy Rapoza and Caroline Rapoza; dear sister of Debbie Bullard of Arizona, Sharon Dutra & her husband Mark of Middleborough, Edward Young, Jr. of Freetown, Darren Young & his wife Gina of Abington, Kelly Benson of Middleborough, and Troy Young of Tennessee; and dear Godmother of Christopher Benson of Middleborough.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
