LAKEVILLE — The Great Ponds Gallery, located inside the Lakeville Public Library, 4 Precinct St., is celebrating its 17th year of sharing and educating the community with a variety of art that has graced its walls and showcased the work of local artists. 

These walls have seen photos, paintings, quilts, collages, illustrations, not to mention chairs hung on them, wedding dresses from decades past and even a thorough history of a variety of drinking vessels.

Local artists are encouraged to add their works to the gallery.

The Gallery Committee is putting out a call to artists who may have never displayed their art in any gallery or perhaps not in the Great Ponds Gallery, as well as previous artists who may wish to exhibit again. The committee juries all applications and looks forward to considering art in any medium.
