LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Historical Society will hold its third meeting of 2025 on Wednesday, April 23, at 7 pm at the Lakeville Council on Aging, 1 Dear Crossing. 

The evening’s program will be presented by Jill Sanford of Art for Your Mind. Her topic will be Early American Art: Everyday Life. This program is supported by a grant from theLakeville Cultural Council, a local agency, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Membership dues of $10 are now payable. The meeting is free, accessible, open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

Currently, the society is fundraising for restoration repairs to the former Grove Chapel building’s cupola. Checks may be made out to the  Lakeville Historical Society, with Cupola in the notation line, and sent to LHS, P.O. Box 917, Lakeville, MA 02347.
