Take a journey through color at the Lakeville Public Library

Apr 13, 2025

A new art exhibit featuring the work of Lakeville artist Randy Swann will be on display at the Lakeville Public Library through May 29.

Titled “Peaks – New Light,” the collection showcases a series of oil paintings inspired by the mountainous landscapes of Iceland, which Swann visited in early 2024.

Swann, a former trustee of the Lakeville Public Library and a multi-disciplinary artist and writer, describes the mountains as visual representations of resilience and change.

The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. The library is closed on Fridays and Sundays.
