MIDDLEBORO _ The votes are in and Fernando has been crowned the king of the goats.

In a yearly fund-raiser, Soule Homestead Education Center sponsors a contest to determine the Soule Sweetheart 2025 crown.

This year, Fernando received more votes than his female counterpart Felicity.

But the real winner is the small animal barn. Funds raised through this contest will be used to make repairs to the structure.

Fernando and Felicity can be visited on the Soule grounds.
