Cupcake-making to candy bingo, Middleboro library has sweet stuff for vacation week
MIDDLEBORO — Book it to the Middleboro Public Library, 102 Main St., for February vacation week programs for children and teens.
Activities include:
Pokemon Club meets at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15.
Come share cards, play with other kids, learn the game from each other, enjoy related activities or just talk Pokémon. No card trading is allowed.
This drop-in event is open to kids of all ages.
Body Balms Workshop for Teens will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18.
Learn how to make your body balm. Delve into the world of carrier oils, essential oils, and beeswax to discover the properties of each ingredient.
This event is perfect for beginners and anyone who wants to indulge in the art of making moisturizers. Participants will leave with a 2.5 oz. jar of personalized body balm.

Family Movie Night will feature “Wild Robot’’ from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Families can bring their own picnic dinner and/or snacks for the show. This program is supported by Friends of the Middleboro Public Library.
Candy & Book Bingo with Ms. Amanda will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19.
Participants are asked to bring a new candy bar or used book and have the chance to win a different candy and/or book.
Everybody wins something. Keolis Commuter Services will be available at this event with information on making safe choices around trains.
This is open to all ages, with no registration required, and is supported by the Peirce Trust.
Food Explorers Baking Class for Teens will be offered Thursday, Feb. 20 from 1-3 p.m.
Learn how to make homemade chocolate brownie cupcakes and Italian fruit tarts from scratch with the Food Explorers. The program is open to ages 11 to 17.
