Pursuant to Ch. 40A. Sec.11, the Middleborough Planning Board will hold a public hearing Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 6:45 PM in the Select Board’s Meeting Room at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Ave, Middleborough, relative to an Amendment to the Residences at Pilgrim Junction 40R approval. There is an application for Plan Approval pursuant to Section 8.6 40R Smart Growth Overlay District (SGO) of the Town of Middleborough Zoning Bylaw to authorize the construction of a 2,153 square foot Taco Bell Restaurant with 20 seats and a drive thru at the former commercial site at 18 West Grove Street, Middleborough, MA 02346 owned by West Grove Holdings, LLC. The plan is dated August 29, 2024 and prepared by Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., 44 Stiles Road, Suite One, Salem, New Hampshire, NH 03079 for Desert De Oro Foods, Inc. Said land is found on Assessors Map 58I, Lot 28.

The complete application and full plans are available in the Planning Department for public review and also available electronically by request. Anyone desiring to be heard on this subject should appear at the time and place designated.

Pursuant to 33 U.S.C. 1341 and M.G.L. c. 21 §26 -53, notice is given of a 401 Water Quality Certification application for the removal of a solid waste disposal area (SWDA) in conjunction with the redevelopment of the former Lakeville State Hospital Site located at 43 Main Street, Lakeville by the Applicant and site owner, Lakeville Owner LLC, 2 International Place, Suite 2410, Boston, MA 02110. Any group of ten persons, any aggrieved person, or any governmental body or private organization with a mandate to protect the environment who submits written comments may appeal the Department’s Certification. Failure to submit written comments before the end of the public comment period may result in the waiver of any right to an adjudicatory hearing.

The Middleborough Select Board will hold a public hearing in the Select Board’s Meeting Room at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue, Middleborough, MA on Monday, January 27th at 7:40 PM, for the purpose of discussing an application filed by Outback Engineering, Inc. for a Special Permit under the Water Resource Protection District By-Law to allow for the restoration of 3,403 sq. ft. of previously disturbed land within the 25’ no touch buffer in WRPD Z3.  The property is located at 485R Wareham Street, in the General Use and CBD overlay Zone 3.  This is shown on Assessors Map 88, Lot 5733.  Anyone wishing to be heard on this matter should appear at the time and place designated.
