Kyle Marie (Grace) Sepersky, 70
The family of Kyle Marie (Grace) Sepersky, a resident of Bonita Springs FL, sadly share the news of her passing on December 3rd, in Taunton MA after a decade long intense battle with ovarian cancer. Her final days were spent surrounded by her husband, four children and many friends. She was two weeks past her 70th birthday.
Born in Taunton, MA, she was the daughter of Edward Grace and Arlene (Townsend) Wall. She was raised in Dighton, MA, and was a 1972 graduate of Dighton-Rehoboth High School. She received her R.N. nursing degree from the Burbank Hospital School of Nursing and Fitchburg State College. Most of her professional career in nursing was at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA, in the peri-operative area.
Kyle was the loving wife of Dr. Robert Sepersky of Bonita Springs, FL. They raised their four children in Lakeville, MA, and continued to spend summers and autumns there. They are Tobi Perry and her husband Kiel Peck of Escondido, CA; Wesley Perry and Devin McCarthy of Coconut Creek, FL; Talia Sepersky of Watertown, MA, and Tristyn Sepersky of Hyde Park, MA. She also has 4 grandchildren: Declan and Madelynn Peck in California, Nash Perry in Florida and Michael Buxbaum of Hudson, NH. She is also survived by her brother Gary Grace of Richmond, NH, and sister Kim Briggs of Swansea, MA.
Kyle loved being a nurse and took great pride in her work. She was quick to volunteer her skills, serving in a makeshift FEMA field hospital in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She also served as a peri-operative nurse on 3 separate medical missions to the Philippines to repair cleft palates and lips in children. She also filled in as a school nurse in the Lakeville school system.
Kyle loved horses, and she and her family took numerous ranch vacations to Arizona and Oregon over the years. Eventually, she and her family owned several horses. She loved traveling and exploring, reading, and never hesitated to take in an old movie on TCM!
Her health battles took up much of the last several years. Her family and friends stood in awe at the positive attitude that she always maintained even as she vigorously fought her health obstacles, never in bad spirits. So many found her truly inspirational.
In honor of Kyle’s wishes, there will be no funeral. There will most definitely be a celebration of her uniquely wonderful life in the future. Donations in Kyle's name to assist in conquering ovarian cancer may be made to www.girlygirlparts.org. This organization had a, “Team Kyle” running in their annual 5K event for many years raising money for a Dana Farber effort to find screening tests to detect ovarian cancer earlier.
