MIDDLEBORO — The Sacred Heart food pantry will host an Italian night fund-raiser Oct. 19 at the Oak Point ballroom, 200 Oak Point Drive, Middleboro.

Tickets are $40 and are available at Freitas Liquors, 167 Center St., Middleboro; Muckey’s Liquors, 13 Harding St., Lakeville, and Sacred Heart parish office, 340 Center St., Middleboro. No tickets will be available at the door.

Food will be provided by Riccardi’s Italian restaurant in New Bedford. Tables of 10 and 12 may be reserved.

The pantry served 305 clients in June and 292 in July. During each of those months, the most recent with statistics available, the pantry provided food for an average of 164 seniors, 336 adults and 153 children.

The pantry is collaborating with the Highlander Laundry, 3 East Grove St., Middleboro, to provide free washing and drying at the business.
