People wool love the sheep festival at Soule Homestead

MIDDLEBORO — The Soule Homestead Education Center, 46 Soule St., Middleboro, will offer tie-dye, music and visits with sheep this month.

Outdoor tie dye workshops will be hosted at the West Patio on Saturday, May 13, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Participants can learn different tie dye techniques. Cost is $25 for members, $30 for non-members’ Pre-registration is required. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Plymouth Rock Music will be playing an outdoor concert on Saturday, May 13 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Those attending should bring their own blankets and/or lawn chairs. Tickets are $10 for members, $15 for non- members, and $5 for kids. Kids under 3 are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the event, which will be held in the pavilion.

Sheep Day Festival will be held on May 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be local venders, food, sheep shearing, sheep dogs, kid’s craft areas, music and other attractions. 

Tickets are $25 for families (up to 5 people), $30 for non-members (up to 5 people), $8 for single tickets for members, and $10 for single tickets for non-members.
