Lakeville Arts & Music Festival returns Oct. 1

LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Arts Council will once again sponsor the 17th annual Lakeville Arts & Music Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at the junctions of routes 105 and 18 and Precinct Street.
The festival will bring culture, juried crafts, food, live musical entertainment, artistic talents and a sense of community to those attending.
Music will include country singer Houston Bernard, Old Colony Highlanders Bagpipe Band with their unique sound and Bela Sarkozy who will return to perform his solo jazz guitar with a style that entails swing, bebop, Latin and pop.
Children’s entertainment includes Ed the Magician and Mr. Vinny The Bubble Guy. The Lakeville Lions Club will offer smores and face painting will be provided by Art On The Spot.
There will be a variety of 50 juried artisans selling their handmade items such as unique photography, CBD, candles, decoys, jewelry, different styles of stoneware pottery, pet gear, a variety of leather items, wooden toys, paintings, weavings, decorative painting on wood, nautical creations, whimsical gnomes, fused glass, and soaps and natural body care products, among other features.
