Sweet: Pancake breakfast results in $1,000 donation to Council on Aging

MIDDLEBORO — A pancake breakfast led to a sweet result for the Middleboro Council on Aging.
Mimi Duphily of the Middleboro Friends organization presented a check for $1,000 at the Select Board meeting June 3.
The donation represented proceeds from a pancake breakfast held May 4 at the Council on Aging.
The Friends group, which supports a variety of efforts in town, sponsored the annual breakfast.
The money will be used to support food programs at the Council on Aging, Duphily said.
